A Fredericksburg Doctor was convicted of Medicare fraud. David M. Young MD submitted over 70 million dollars in fraudulent claims. Young prescribed prescriptions for unnecessary orthotic braces and genetic tests to at lease 13 thousand Medicare beneficiaries. He received 475 thousand dollars in kick-backs. He faces 25 years in prison. Reports the US Department of Justice.
