FBG - Emily Kirchner filed for Mayor

Fredericksburg Mayor Pro-Tem has filed for Mayor for the May 2026 election. According to the Standard Radio Post, Emily Kirchner announced her candidacy and her campaign slogan “Leadership that Listens”. Current Mayor Jeryl Hoover will not seek re-election. (Photo: FBG Standard Radio Post)
