The City of Fredericksburg is seeking a new City Secretary. The City Secretary is an officer of the City, appointed by the City Manager. It is a statutory position required by State Law and the City Charter. The current city secretary Shelly Goodwin resigned effective next Wednesday, March 27th. Goodwin has been with the city for 6 years and has won numerous awards. She is leaving to go to Rockport, TX. The city is not only seeking a permanent secretary they also need an interim.
