FBG Teachers get a raise

Teachers in Fredericksburg will be seeing raises of up to 3 thousand dollars a year reports the Standard Radio Post. The Fredericksburg Independent School District in their meeting this week decided to raise the salaries to continuing teachers. Entry level teachers salaries were also raised so they will start at 50 thousand dollars a year. FISD also gave 2 dollar an hour raises to other school personnel. The raises come after the Texas Legislature failed to pass a bill for teacher pay raises.
