VFW Post 7105 in Fredericksburg receives a million dollar award from the Adam R. Scripps Foundation. The Frantzen-Ahrens Post is building a new facility estimated at 3.5 million dollars. Their current building is out of date and cannot be re-modeled due to structural issues. Post 7105 is named after the first 2 casualties from Gillespie County in World War II.
