Fredericksburg HOT Funds

458 thousand dollars in HOT or Hotel Occupancy Tax funds distributed by Fredericksburg City Council this week. 25 applicants received the funds. Highlights of the 2026 recipients were the Admiral Nimitz Foundation, which operates the National Museum of the Pacific War. The museum received 150 thousand dollars as they welcomed over 120 thousand guests in 2025. The Gillespie County Historical Society, received $80 thousand dollars for preservation of the Fassel Roeder Home.
