Make sure your tag and registration are current. On Friday, in Gillespie County, a deputy noticed an expired registration of 2020 on a car at a convenience store next to them at the gas pump. He spoke to the driver and passenger and found the driver with marijuana and the passenger had an outstanding warrant. A probable cause search of the vehicle netted almost 2 grams of pot, a vape with THC, a stolen gun, methamphetamine, a meth bong with over 88 grams of green bong water, and prescription drugs. Both people were from Austin and they were arrested. The incident happened on East Main Street. In Fredericksburg.
