Gillespie Co - Drug arrest in Comfort

Gillespie County Sheriff’s Narcotics division investigation into a drug trail from Kerr County to Gillespie has resulted in an arrest. On Thursday, Kerr County Special Ops and their Special Response Team and the GCSO Narcotics Division, plus Kendall County K9 unit, executed a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Greenwood Drive, Comfort. Almost 5 pounds of cocaine were seized along with over $12,000 in cash, and 5 firearms. Basilio Alva Lozano, 71, was arrested and taken into custody by the Kerr County Sheriff's Office.
