Gillespie Co - Emergency Alerts

Gillespie County residents and property owners can sign up for the CivicPlus Mass Notification System – an emergency alert system designed to keep the public informed and safe. For more information, visit gillespiecounty.org.  In the aftermath of July’s Hill Country flooding, residents are encouraged to sign up for the emergency alert system. The alert allows officials to get the word out countywide for folks to evacuate safely and stay out of danger.  By signing up, the public can receive emergency alerts and severe weather warnings directly to their preferred devices.  Choose to receive alerts via text message, email, pager, or voice mail.  To subscribe via SMS text messages only, text FBGTX to 38276. A mobile app, myAlerts, is also available.
