Gillespie Co - fatality accident

Fatality accident in Gillespie County Sunday night. At approximately 10:45 p.m., Texas DPS Troopers responded to a fatal two-vehicle crash on US-87 North near Cherry Mountain Loop. Preliminary investigation indicates that a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound on US-87 when the driver failed to maintain a single lane and struck the driver-side mirror of a Ford  F-550 who was also traveling northbound. The Silverado lost control, left the roadway, and rolled over.  The driver and sole occupant of the Silverado, Albert Martinez Jr., 36, of San Angelo, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
