Gillespie Co - Screwworm presentation

Over 700 people showed up last night in Gillespie County for the meeting hosted by Texas Farm Bureau regarding the new world screw worm. According to State representative Wes Virdell.  Virdell says he’strying to learn as much as possible regarding the issue as he represents an area the size of West Virginia.  He also said he wanted to learn and help as much as possible for everyone who could be affected by the screw worm. Such as ranchers, sale barns, bull haulers, feed stores, ag brokers, other legislators, and government agencies.

Also, in attendance were Senator Pete Flores, State Representative Don McLaughlin, and State Representative Ellen Troxclair's Chief of Staff.
