On Friday afternoon 3 Gillespie County first responders were notified of a 911 kidnapping call. A woman called 911 and claimed she was drugged and kidnapped. She also said she shot someone. Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office, Fredericksburg Fire and EMS plus the Stonewall Volunteer Fire Department found the woman in a vehicle at the 10 thousand block of east Highway 290. A man was found in the front seat deceased. He has been identified as Lance Damon Reid of Houston. The unidentified woman is from Montgomery Texas. The investigation is ongoing.
