Gillespie County - tax rate and budget approved

In Gillespie County, Commissioners decided to keep the same tax rate as last year instead of raising it at a special meeting on Friday. The tax rate has reverted back to 27 cents per 100 dollar valuation rather than 29 cents. The court also approved the 2026 budget.
