Good Samaritans identified

The unknown Good Samaritans that helped a truck driver escape his flaming truck - on IH-10 near Mountain Home have been identified. Cassidy Carpenter and his father Doug pulled Lucas Hutchinson from his rig that caught fire after a blowout sent him off the highway on May 6th. Several local volunteer fire departments responded to the accident. The pair are from New Mexico. Cassidy’s mother in law read the story on Hill Country Journal and contacted the paper.
