GVTC Foundation - gives money to first responders

GVTC honors first responders with flood relief donations. The donations came from customers and employees. The GVTC Foundation held a Game Day 5K with first responders. Following the event, the communications company surprised attendees with the donations. 7 Volunteer Fire Departments received the funds. Examples include:  Sisterdale - 24 thousand dollars, Boerne Fire – 21 thousand five hundred dollars, Bergheim – 17 thousand 500 dollars. Also the departments competing in a tug of war event received another thousand dollars.
