Ten new homes for ten families in Kerrville’s Mariposa community for those impacted by last summer’s flooding. The ten disaster recovery homes were made possible through a Habitat for Humanity Kerr County partnership with the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. Many families were displaced during the flood and were unable to rebuild on their current land. Habitat Kerr County also announced the launch of its 2026 Affordable Homeownership Program. Pre-screening for eligibility for the home ownership program is now available through Sunday, February 15th. Visit habitatkerr.org.
