Hill Country Alliance - woody debris mgmnt

Post flood woody debris management. Making space for the land, for the river discussions, workshops and guidance. First meeting is Tuesday, Central Provisions in Center Point, 4-6pm including Mosty Ranch, Wed Tom Moore High School in Ingram 4-6pm, Thursday Trailhead Beer Garden at Schreiner University, 4-6pm.  The topic of discussion is "Dead Wood is Good" and plays a crucial role in river health. Sources highlight that dead wood is "just as important to river function as living trees", acting as "critical structural reinforcement of the channel, bank and floodplain".
