On Friday, the Public Utility Commission of Texas approved the joint Certificate of Convenience and Necessity application from CPS Energy and AEP Texas for the Howard-Solstice which is part of the largest transmission project in state history – despite calls for a pause or denial from statewide elected officials, legislators, local leaders and thousands of landowners.
