Dancehall in Hunt to re-open for fundraiser. “Plant the Guadalupe” a fundraiser benefiting the San Antonio Botanical Garden at Crider’s Rodeo and Dancehall on Sunday, May 17th. The benefit concert with Gary P. Nunn headlining is supporting the TREES initiative—a long-term effort to restore native trees along the Guadalupe River in Kerr County following the July 4th flood. The Botanical Garden is growing 50 thousand trees for replanting along the Guadalupe River in Kerr County. Find information at sabgtx.org. Crider’s also was damaged during the flood and has been undergoing renovation. The concrete dance floor was poured. Other parts of the dancehall have been rebuilt.
