Hunt - Heart of the Hills Camp has new ownership and location

Heart of the Hills Camp for Girls in Hunt has new ownership. According to the camp’s website hohcamp.com trusteeship has passed from the Ragsdale family to Elisabeth and John Hay, camp parents. Camp Director and Owner Jane Ragsdale died during the July 4^th flood.  John (Chief #78) is a longtime Stewart camper and the Hay children have attended camp at Heart of the Hills and Stewart. The Hay’s are moving the camp to a new location on the North Fork of the Guadalupe, centered around historic Riverbend Lodge which the Hay’s own. The property was once part of Camp Stewart. Construction of new facilities is already underway.
