It was a beautiful day for a ribbon cutting on Saturday as Ingram’s renovated Little League Fields opened for a day of baseball. Ingram’s Little League Fields were destroyed during the July 4th flood after being renovated before the flood. The opening ceremonies included Jim Crane, owner of the Houston Astros, who threw the ceremonial pitch, Jose Guzman, former player for the Astros and the Texas Rangers representing the Rangers and Bob Cohen, representative for the Nolan Ryan Foundation, The San Antonio Missions and the RoundRock Express baseball times. Also, speaking was Austin Dickson of the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country who donated money in October to the Astros Foundation for the rebuild of the fields. The ballpark now has 3 main fields, 2 practice fields, batting cages and other amenities.
