Ingram Interim Police Chief Otto Arnim reported to city council this week that 2 applications are in for the police chief’s position but none for officers. The city currently is operating with one police officer and himself as Chief. Citizens expressed concerns over adequate law enforcement during the upcoming eclipses. Chief Arnim says outside law enforcement could possibly be brought in but they’d have to consider it soon since the first solar eclipse is 4 months away in October. Reported by the West Kerr Current.
