Johnny Manziel Statue finds a home

The Johnny Manziel Statue has found a new home. Reports the Hill Country Journal. The lifesize statue of the Tivy graduate and Heisman Trophy Winner will now be placed at Peterson Plaza. A group of community leaders originally wanted the statue at Antler Stadium. In March, the group presented the project details to the Kerrville ISD Board of Trustees who then voted against placing the statue at the stadium. Early 2024 is the target date for the completion of the statue. Donations are being accepted by the Manziel Project Charitable Fund. Contact info is manzielprojectcharitablefund@gmail.com
