A routine traffic stop in Kerr County leads to drug arrests. The Operations Division, Criminal Interdiction Unit, stopped a vehicle on IH-10 near Mile Marker 501 last Tuesday. The driver was advised of a probable cause search as deputies smelled marijuana as they approached the vehicle. Found inside the trunk were 3 and a half pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 12 pounds of THC products plus, a pound of Marijuana. The driver, Jason Jaymes Borchers, 22, of Corpus Christi and passenger Justin Ray Perez, 18, of Riviera were arrested and booked in the Kerr County Jail. Both were charged for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance and marijuana possession. Both have bonds over 100 thousand dollars.
