Kerr Co - HCESRPC meeting

The HILL COUNTRY ENERGY SUB-REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION or 391 Commission of Kendall and Kerr County, had a packed house at Wednesday's meeting. Gillespie County has now joined the Commission. The commission was formed to fight off the construction of multiple Battery Energy Storage Systems or BESS in the Hill Country. Several items discussed included status of construction of BESS’s in Harper and Mountain Home and also LCRA’s lack of providing their inter-connective agreements with the owners of the BESS in Kerr County and officials with the Public Utility Commission not acknowledging requests for information. Gillespie County has a their copy of the LCRA agreement with Peregrine.
