Kerr County sheriff and Ingram mayor proxy exchange words over policing in Ingram. Ingram City Secretary Ruby Nix representing the mayor and Ingram police chief was presenting a report on the status of the police force. Sheriff Larry Leith didn’t agree with the report. One of many points of contention was that the lone Ingram police officer doing follow up work on calls for the sheriff’s office rather than patrolling, Leitha said those calls were for Ingram.
