Kerr Co - shooting leaves one dead

Shooting in Kerr County leaves one man dead. On Tuesday evening Kerr County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division deputies and Kerrville EMS were dispatched to the 100 Block of Keagan Drive South, outside of Hunt, for the report of a shooting. When first responders arrived, 54-year-old Scott Bender was found deceased.  The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division and the Texas Rangers responded to the scene toinvestigate the death. The preliminary investigation  reveals the deceased was shot during a confrontation with a neighbor. This case remains under active investigation
