Kerr Co - texts and emails released from July 4th Flood

Kerr County releases thousands of records showing the response of county authorities to the July 4th flooding. Communications from Judge Rob Kelley to Dub Thomas, Emergency Management Coordinator, Sheriff Larry Leitha and others were released showing Kelley texted the county’s spokesperson around 8 a.m. July 4, saying it’s a “s--- show out west,” referring to the western part of the county. Other texts came in from Governor Abbott and Senator John Cornyn. More information to be released as the texts continue to be deciphered.
