Kerr County map - Early voting at the Hill Country Youth Event Center
There are three major events planned at the event center – each overlapping with the early voting.
Due to anticipated high traffic volume over the next two weeks, the plan asks motorists who are planning to
cast their ballots in the early voting location to enter into the facility using either Gate 1 or Gate 2 directly off TX27.
Parking designated for voters will be in the HCYEC’s primary parking lot in front of the building, with
handicapped parking for voters on the northwest side of the facility. Parking for other events will be on the southeast
side and in back of the building.
Voters are asked to enter the building on the northwest end of the building through the main entrance with
glass doors. That will lead them to the early polling location in the Happy State Bank Expo Hall.
Once finished, voters will be asked to exit through Gate 3 onto Riverside Drive to the rear of the HCYEC
campus.
Attendees of the other events will be asked to exit through Gate 4 onto Riverside Drive.
Among the other events that will be held at the Hill Country Youth Event Center include:
Oct. 22-25 – the Lone Star Gourd Festival
Oct. 26-28 – the Kerr County 4-H Food Challenge
Oct. 28-Nov. 2 – the Texas Fleece and Fiber Festival
