Kerrville - Cortez Family bbq fundraiser

The Cortez Family barbecue fundraiser was yesterday at the Hill Country Veterans Center in Kerrville. I spoke with Darren Cortez whose brother Dan, nephew Cody and daughter Courtney Cortez were killed on Saturday May 3rd, when an intoxicated driver crashed into them head-on in Center Point.  Darren wanted to thank the community for all their support:  AUDIO: 21 sec CUE: blessed, blessed day.   Darren said the family may organize a scholarship fund in honor of the family and will keep us updated.
