Kerrville ISD Announces School Closure for Tuesday,

Kerrville, Texas — Kerrville Independent School District (KISD) announced today that all district campuses and District Offices will remain closed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

While certain roadways within the community have shown improvement, many areas remain icy and wet. Additionally, extremely low temperatures are forecast through tonight and into Tuesday morning. Refreezing is expected and may produce hazardous travel conditions during early morning commutes.

Updates regarding any extracurricular activities scheduled for Tuesday will be released as the district continues to monitor weather conditions and receive updated information from local officials.

KISD appreciates the patience and support of families, staff, and the community during this period of inclement weather. The district encourages all families to exercise caution, remain aware of changing conditions, and stay warm.
