Kerrville - May 3rd election cancelled

The City of Kerrville has cancelled the May 3rd election. The City Council voted unanimously yesterday to cancel it as there were no applications filed to oppose the incumbents of City Council Place 1 Delayne Sigerman and Place 2 Jeff Harris. The City Secretary will post an order of cancellation on Wednesday and submit it to Kerr County for publication.  This is the first time since 1955 when the city began keeping records that a Municipal General Election has been cancelled.
