Kerrville - National Drug Take Back - Saturday

National Drug Take Back Day is Saturday.  Kerrville Police Department is joining forces with the Drug Enforcement Administration and hundreds of other law enforcement agencies across the country. The agencies are providing a venue for those wanting to dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., bring in those medications for destruction. It’s a drive-through process so citizens don’t need to exit their cars. Enter the KPD parking lot from Sidney Baker. Kerrville Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association volunteers will help take the medications and direct traffic. A primary purpose of the program is to prevent abuse, misuse and poisonings.
