The City of Kerrville puts out a reminder to residents and businesses of regulations regarding solicitation, peddling, and commercial activities for public safety and the protection of private property rights.
• Residential Solicitation Restrictions: No person may solicit, peddle, or canvass at residences between 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (there are some exemptions)
• Street Commerce Prohibited: It is unlawful to engage in commercial activities — (including selling, peddling, or soliciting) in city streets, street rights-of-way, or medians. The restriction does not apply to sidewalks or non-traffic areas.
• No Solicitation Signs Enforced: Individuals may not solicit, peddle, or canvass on private property where a clearly visible sign states “No Solicitors” or “No Trespassing”, or something similar. For questions or to report violations, contact the Kerrville Police Department.
