Kerrville - Stocking trout at Louise Hays Park

Did you know rainbow trout is not native to Texas according to UGRA. Yet, The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department are stocking the Guadalupe River at Kerrville’s Louise Hays Park on Tuesday. Bring your fishing pole, bait and your freshwater fishing license if you’re 17 and older. Rainbow Trout like cold water temperatures, so look for them in deep waters.
