Kerville ISD - first responder recognition

First responders, shining stars, and heroes were recognized for their service during the flood at Friday’s Kerrville Tivy Game against the Del Rio Rams. Spectators were treated to performances by Camp Mystic survivor Skylar Derrington with her version of Hallelujah and the National Anthem by Tivy Senior Amber Stone. The team wore special jerseys with the words First Responder instead of their own names. Plus, Texas National Guard’s Black Hawk Helicopters, followed by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s helicopter did flyovers Antler Stadium. The Tivy Antlers defeated the Del Rio Rams 41 to 20.
