The Blanco County Courthouse will have their lighting upgraded on the grounds. The Lower Colorado River Authority and Pedernales Electric Co-op presented Lights Spectacular with a 25 thousand dollar grant to do the work. Lights Spectacular runs each evening for six weeks during the holiday season. The upgrade will also help monthly Blanco Market Days. Currently the electrical infrastructure is unreliable, and vendors must use portable gasoline or diesel generators.
