Llano - Library issue ongoing

Appealed ruling in regards to the Llano Library, can possibly go nationwide according to dailytrib.com. Recently, a decision siding with plaintiffs was reversed by the US Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. 8 of 17 banned books were ordered to be re-shelved. Plaintiff Leila Green Little and others can let the appeal stand or take it to the US Supreme Court by August. A lawsuit was filed in April of 2022 against several Llano County officials for removing books without following standard procedure.
