NWS changes weather verbiage

Expect new verbiage to describe the weather from the National Weather Service according to Kerr County Emergency Management Director Dub Thomas. The term Wind chill has been taken out of the mix. So, residents won’t be hearing Wind Chill Watch, Wind Chill Warning nor Wind Chill Advisory. You will only be hearing Extreme Cold Watch, Extreme Cold Warning and Cold Weather Advisory.
