NWS - EF-1 tornado in Kendall Co Friday

National Weather Service confirms an EF-1 tornado touched down in Kendall County near Kendalia and crossed into Comal County on Friday. Winds were registered at 110 miles per hour. The tornado lasted about 20 minutes starting at 11:35pm and ending close to midnight. Trees fences, shingles, and power lines were damaged. No loss of life occurred. According to the Pedernales Electric Co-op storms caused multiple outages across their service are with significant damage at FM 306 and U.S. 281.
