Peaches & Grapes - brave the cold

In the Hill Country, Peaches and grapes may have dodged detrimental damage from the cold snap. Peaches need the cold and grey, wet weather early. The crop needs days of temperatures below 45 degrees.  The grapes mostly get damaged after they bud due to freezes and frosts. Damage may not be known until the summer, reports the Standard Radio Post.
