SA Planning commission will not recommend Lennar to create MUD

San Antonio Planning Commission will not recommend to allow Lennar Homes to create a Municipal Utility District to fund infrastructure for their Guajolote Ranch project. The application was submitted to TCEQ in November. The Scenic Loop Helotes Creek Alliance met with the Planning Commission last Friday during a public hearing. Next up is a vote from San Antonio City Council on February 5^th. TCEQ in October approved a permit for a wastewater facility to serve the 3 thousand home Guajolote Ranch development. The Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance and Grey Forest, with support from the Scenic Loop Helotes Creek Alliance, are expected to appeal the TCEQ decision in state district court at the end of this month.
