Texas office in Taiwan

The State of Texas has a new office in Taiwan. Taiwan is a large foreign trading partner for Texas. Governor Greg Abbott was on hand for the opening of the office to bolster the economic and cultural cooperation between Texas and Taiwan. Abbott is currently in East Asia promoting more trade, investment, and collaboration for the state with Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. The 3 foreign trading partners accounted for $84.5 billion combined in trade for 2023.
