Texas - Wildires

Wildfires started spreading through the Texas panhandle and Oklahoma panhandle Tuesday. High winds, severe drought conditions and low humidity are risks for the fires to continue to spread.  A Red Flag Warning for critical fire danger continues through tonight, with strong wind expected to continue. Some evacuation orders have been issued. In anticipation of wildfire danger, Governor Abbott, yesterday directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to increase the readiness level of the Texas State Emergency Operations Center to Level II, an Escalated Response.
