Toyota is recalling Tundras made in San Antonio. The automaker has recalled about 168 thousand Tundra pickups. There’s a defect that could cause the truck to catch fire. The recall notice states that vehicle models from 2022 and 2023 could be affected in the US. The safety recall is for both the Tundra’s gas-only and electric hybrid models. The trucks have a plastic fuel tube that can move and rub against a brake line and cause a fuel leak. The fuel leak could “increase the risk of fire” if near an ignition source. It’s Toyota’s largest recall this year. Check your vehicles (VIN) or license plate information at Toyota.com/recall to see if your vehicle is involved in the recall.
