Kenric Wakeen Griffin, of New Horizons Durable Medical Equipment based in Frisco, TX, is sentenced to 4 years in a federal penitentiary. A jury convicted Griffin of conspiracy to defraud the US and to pay and receive healthcare kickbacks. Griffin was involved in a medical equipment fraud scheme investigated by the Office of Texas Attorney General. In addition, he has to pay over $5 million dollars in restitution to government health care programs.
