Texas families are preparing for tax free weekend in August. No tax exemption form necessary. The annual event helps families save on items needed for back to school. Although, items can be purchased online, the Texas comptroller encourages shoppers to buy at Texas businesses. For a list of tax free items, see the list at Comptroller.texas.gov. Save the date…tax free weekend starts Friday, August 11th and runs through Sunday, August 13th.
