Report on the 2022 Robb Elementary shooting in Uvalde finds Uvalde Police Department blameless. Reports KSAT TV. Austin Area investigator Jesse Prado released the report yesterday at a Uvalde City Council special meeting. The report has taken almost 2 years to complete. Prado reported to City Council that the department did not commit any wrongdoing or violate any policy in its response to the elementary school. Prado placed the blame on communication issues, crowds outside the school and officers not having the correct keys on hand. A criminal investigation by the Uvalde District Attorney office remains open.
