Water conservation groups to file complaint on Agua Texas

2 conservation agencies threaten to act against Aqua Texas for overpumping water. The Watershed Association and Trinity Edwards Springs Protection Association held a community meeting saying they had data that showed the excessive pumping from local sources. The Associations will file the complaint with the Public Utility Council of Texas for overpumping during a dry. Aqua Texas claims they are being unfairly targeted. The water company also faces fines from the Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District. Reports KXAN.
