250K approved for election staff

Kerr County Commissioners approved a 250 thousand budget for new election staffers. Due to Bob Reeves stepping down as Kerr County’s elections administrator, County Clerk Jackie Dowdy, the new administrator needs a staff. She was appointed to replace Reeves. In Texas, county clerks are elections administrators but Reeves, Kerr County’s tax assessor collector had assumed the duties for the past 15 years.
